I looked at that.  I haven't tried it but it sounds exactly like what is 
needed: a way to let JSF components have dependencies that are external to the 
page (html) being rendered.  This is going to be more and more of a need as 
time goes on, because, as I said, I'm sure we're going to start wanting Flash 
files and tons of other stuff.  Like I might have a component that's 
s:playMusic, that would render as a Flash player for a music track.  That will 
need the flash file, and then it will need to be able to serve the music data.  
Ideally, the "Seam way" would be to have the component just work without me 
needing to do anything else.
