No nested exceptions that tell you a bit more? Not the cause of your problem, but just for your information:
> if (list==null || (list!=null && list.size()!=1)) The Java || is an Exclusive OR: if the first expression evaluates to true then the second is not evaluated at all. So there's no need for the "list!=null" part.
