I have a task containing a variable with "required" access...

<start-state name="A">
  |     <task name="ATask" >
  |             <controller>
  |                     <variable name="varA" access="write,required">
  |                     </variable>
  |             </controller>
  |     </task>
  |     <transition to="B" name="Bname"></transition>
  | </start-state>

but the requirement isn't enforced. I can leave the field empty and transition
to the next node without a problem. I am using the console application and with
a generated form (generated and then modified by hand). Here is the form for
that task:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd";>
  |
  | <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml";
  |       xmlns:ui="http://java.sun.com/jsf/facelets";
  |       xmlns:c="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core";
  |       xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html";
  |       xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core";
  |       xmlns:tf="http://jbpm.org/jsf/tf";
  |       xmlns:jbpm="http://jbpm.org/jsf";>
  |
  | <ui:component>
  |   <jbpm:dataform>
  |
  |     <f:facet name="header">
  |       <h:outputText value="#{taskName}"/>
  |     </f:facet>
  |
  |     <!-- TASKFORM ROWS -->
  |     <jbpm:datacell>
  |       <f:facet name="header">
  |         <h:outputText value="A"/>
  |       </f:facet>
  |       <h:inputText value="#{var['varA']}" />
  |     </jbpm:datacell>
  |
  |     <jbpm:datacell>
  |       <f:facet name="header">
  |         <h:outputText value="Actions"/>
  |       </f:facet>
  |       <!-- TASKFORM BUTTONS -->
  |       <tf:saveButton value="Save"/>
  |       <tf:transitionButton transition="B" value="B"/>
  |     </jbpm:datacell>
  |
  |   </jbpm:dataform>
  | </ui:component>
  | </html>

Is this a bug, or is there something else I need to do to require the variable?
