Can you verify the alternate fix of removing the if works for you?
I.e.

| try
| {
| // push security update to the server
| sm.setSecurityConfig(isQueue(), destination.getName(),
securityConfig);
|
| destination.setSecurityConfig(securityConfig);
| }
| catch (Throwable t)
| {
| ExceptionUtil.handleJMXInvocation(t, this + " setSecurityConfig");
| }
| }
