Hi, I have a similar problem as you, but the exception I got is different. I got ClassNotFoundException, and I guess is due the "unusual" ClassLoader architecture of JBoss.
Which versions of JBoss and Toplink Essentials are you using? How did you installed Toplink on JBoss?
