Hi, I am running JBoss-4.2.1GA(jdk 1.5.0_11) on CentOS 5 and have a trouble that a client cannot connect to JBoss server:
javax.naming.CommunicationException: Could not obtain connection to any of these urls: noaworksj.sys-lab.com and discovery failed with error: javax.naming.CommunicationException: Receive timed out [Root exception is java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Receive timed out] [Root exception is javax.naming.CommunicationException: Failed to connect to server noaworksj.sys-lab.com:1099 [Root exception is javax.naming.ServiceUnavailableException: Failed to connect to server noaworksj.sys-lab.com:1099 [Root exception is java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect]]] at org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContext.checkRef(NamingContext.java:1416) at org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContext.lookup(NamingContext.java:596) at org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContext.lookup(NamingContext.java:589) ... This shows JBoss(Java) is listening port 1099 and nothing wrong is there. However, I get the above connection failure when I start a client program connecting to JBoss.
