Thanks for the reply. But this is not what I am looking for. I am not able to assign a new security role to the CMSAdminPortletInstance.I get "Access Denied" in the CMSAdminPortletWindow when I refer to the existing CMSAdminPortletInstance as I mentioned in my previous post.
