I looked around in the code, and scrollableDataGrid definitely uses its own 
DataModel class (org.richfaces.model.ScrollableTableDataModel, extending 
org.ajax4jsf.model.ExtendedDataModel which itself extends 
javax.faces.model.DataModel -- the base class for Seam's DataModel stuff).

So the question is: does Seam want to ease the use of scrollableDataGrid like 
it does with dataGrid? If so, then some modifications to Seam will need to be 
done to allow that.
