Got a workaround by replacing count(*) with :
List l = (List)
| em.createNativeQuery("SELECT uId FROM Users_Terminals ut where "+
| "tId=" + termId + " and uId=" +userId).getResultList();
| return(l!=null && l.size()>0 && ((Integer)(l.get(0))).intValue()>0);
