Shutting down JBoss by Ctrl-C'ing does do a graceful shutdown! If have it set up as a service you could start and stop it via the control panel - but it will have the same effect as Ctrl-Cing it! Vinay

I am just getting started with JBoss and started up JBoss with embedded tomcat by running the batch file. Is there a graceful way to shutdown JBoss without just closing the dos window?
Thanks, Ivan
