[JBoss-user] StreamCorruptedException

While trying to connect to my EJB from machine A to server S, no problem, it
all works fine.
When trying to do the same from machine B to the same server, I get an
javax.naming.CommunicationException.  Root exception is
java.io.StreamCorruptedException: Type code out of range, is 125

A and S are linux machines, and B is a BSD machine.
A and S are running with JDK1.3, and B with JDK1.2.2

any idea of what's happening ?
