Subject: [JBoss-user] Can't run the "interest" example
On Windows 2k
Downloaded jboss 2.2.2-tomcat 3.2.2
Updated to jdk 1.3.1
Hacked the registry where I got a message saying "version says 1.3 and I
need 1.2"
Start the jboss, looks good
deployed the bean, looks good
made a batch file to run the client, just like it says in the docco
and I keep getting:
javax.naming.NoInitialContextException: Cannot instantiate class:
org.jnp.interf
aces.NamingContextFactory [Root exception is
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContextFactory]
jnp-client.jar is definitely in the classpath I set in the batch file
I also tried it with a jboss 2.2 I had downloaded before
(sigh)
where have I gone wrong? Besides choosing this career?
