The author, Aaron Mulder, did not wish to maintain the sources in the
JBoss CVS repository. This was making it difficult to track down and
fix problems that people were having with Minerva. Because Minerva
provided such an important part of JBoss from the point of view of
people using JBoss, it was decided that having the sources in the CVS
repository was the best way to ensure that the JBoss project can
address any issues with them.
Also, Aaron has been busy recently and has been a bottleneck to getting
some changes made. If any JBoss developer can work on JBossPool then
we can respond much more quickly.
