Well i guess this is the third time i am forwarding this mail... probably
nobody took notice of it ..
I want to integrate my OpenLDAP OpenLDAP-2.0.11 server running on RedHat
6.2
with JBoss 2.2.1-Tomcat 3.2.1 and utilize it for the security/authentication
purposes..
I have an idea what i want to achieve..but am not sure if that is possible
with jboss or not. and so i need
directions.
I want role based security for my applications . and for which the principal
/ roles will be persistent on the OpenLDAP server. I want to authenticate
the users based on the roles defined in the OpenLDAP server.. but i dont
want to get a hard-coded solution....by mentioning the roles / principals in
the deployement descriptors but want them to be dynamically loaded from the
OpenLDAP server and then matched and authenticated accordingly.
Is there any way i can achieve this ?
Any kind of help or Lead will be appreciated :-)
