I am a newbie to this as well.

I have got my datasource setup by following the instruction in the
documentation on try this.

As I understand it the suns' jdbc-odbc driver should already be in the
classpath and does not need to be moved to the lib/ext directory.

i have problem configuring the jboss server to accomodate MS SQL server.
i copied the sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver  to the lib\ext directory and
then tried to start the server again. But the error message i received
indicated that it couldnt load this particular driver.
