The jboss site has some documentation
(http://www.jboss.org/jboss-castor.jsp). A complete example of use of
CastorJDO in SessionBean (contributed by Terry Child) can be downloaded
from http://www.jboss.org/castorjdo/rooms.zip.
I'm also using jboss with castor in the jmoz project
(http://jmoz.sourceforge.net). The current CVS code uses castor via a
session bean, though I now plan to convert it to a BMP entity bean.
