I didn't know about the servlet environment mapping.

What I meant below was that you do that lookup on
"ejb/Hello".. The lookup he was trying to do was
java:comp/env/ejb/Hello. I was just pointing out
that if you are outside of the namespace then just
srtip off the java:comp/env.

Not sure where you got this from. You can use the JNDI name
of the EJB home directly, which will be something like
"Hello", but you should use the java:comp/env namespace like
the spec says.
