Hello I have problem with recreating your bug. I downloaded the binary versions of JBoss Portal 2.2.1 RC2 bundled with AS and the latest binary of JBoss Forums and I can view topics without any problem. What you can do is to download the newest JBoss Portal and JBoss Forums source code versions from cvs repository. This migth help because lately I have resolved a bug in view topic code which was connected with JBoss Portal's database changes. For me viewing topics works even with the old code but maybe your Oracle database is more sensitive.
