Thanks for your response I should have clarified that I am using JBoss 3.2.7
I first tested authentication policy 'jmx-console' for securing JMX-Console and I was able to log in using admin/admin. I believe that the query is correct. After I verified that authentication policy, I tried using the same for securing EJB. I am not sure what you mean by datasource element in EJB's jbosscmp.xml? Why do I need this?
