Marc, why can't the web forum be an integrated addition to the mailing

I think a mailing list interface (that we already have) must be preserved. I
suspect the list must move from SourceForge for this to be possible. Adding
a web forum and usenet interface to the mailing list interface would be
great. Killing the mailing list in favour of a web/usenet interface will
effectively prevent/deter many users from participating.
