I checked again, I use following connector: mysql-connector-java-3.1.7-bin.jar So there is no 'g' within the name. Today I replaced this one by the latest one from www.mysql.com. (mysql-connector-java-3.1.12-bin.jar) Now it works also without the aspectj.jar. Thanks!
