0. Use JBoss 2.4 or later.
1. Read the manual sections on jbosscx.
2. Put the .rar in the deploy directory.
3. Configure the properties for an instance of the adapter in a
ConnectionFactoryLoader mbean in jboss.jcml. This also contains the
configuration information for the pooling used with the adapter instance.
THere are at least 2 examples in the standard jboss.jcml.
4. Start jboss. The ConnectionFactoryLoader mbeans will be initialized and
started, however the ConnectionFactories themselves only start after the
.rar is recognized and deployed by the autodeployer/ rardeployer. You can
follow this process in the log.
Can you provide a reference to a jca resource adapter for tamino? I just
spent a few minutes at their site finding nothing.
