I found the problem, I had two EJBs registered under the same name. One was supposed to be deleted (I guess I forgot to delete it) and it was registering on top of the other one. The old one had a bug in it (the begin method was not on the @Local interface of the EJB).
What stinks with EJB instead of POJO is that the resulting class is "$Proxy###" instead of a class name. It would be nice to know what interface the proxy implements. Oh well.
