Thanks for your reply! Yes, the interface I was using extended EJBObject, I have created a new one that extends Remote, but in a new package.
I got it deployed without errors, but it does not work and I am annoyed. I suppose this is because this new interface is not explicitly linked to the EJB, although it is referenced in the web service's descriptors, and the web service is referenced in the ejb-jar.xml file. Another thing I don't understand is the role of the war in your example. Thanks a lot for your help. I don't find useful documentation / examples about using EJBs as web service's endpoint. It would be nice to have your project with Fibo as part of the tutorial. Kind regards, Jose.
