Jboss is mentioned in the book Professional EJB, and Appendix G is dedicated
to it. The only negative comment is mention of a bug (page 1211).
"Unfortunately, the version of EJX shipping with JBoss 2.2.2 has a bug that
causes it to write bad jaws.xml files, so we need to extract the jaws.xml
file from the EJB jar....Hopefully this bug will be fixed in later versions
of Jboss." Not bad, though, since the other appendix candidates are J2EE
reference implementation, Weblogic server 6.0, IBM WebSphere Application
Server 4.0, SilverStream Application server, and Sybase EAServer. I don't
know much about Sybase or SilverStream, but I do know BEA and WebSphere take
up the lion's market share.
