Turned out that my problem was that some of the columns in the database
were NULL and the varibale for this column in my entity bean was primitive type 
int. Apperarently Hibernate has problems tening NULLS into ints. I've changed 
the column type to Integer and everything works fine.
Not a very good solution though, I think.
