Portal 2.4? The last version on the download page is 2.2.1RC3, so it's probably a typo, but which version did you really use? I have the same problem, even though I have the following files installed by default: default\lib\mail.jar default\lib\mail-plugin.jar default\lib\activation.jar default\deploy\mail-service.xml default\lib\bsh.jar default\lib\bsh-deployer.jar default\deploy\bsh-deployer.xml default\deploy\ear-deployer.xml default\deploy\ejb-deployer.xml Is there anything else that need to be there, considering I've selected EJB3 install path for Jboss during installation?
