I am having the same problem ... what really is confusing me is I went and
added the collowing code to where I perform the lookup:
InitialContext context = new InitialContext();
Object objRef = context.lookup("ejb/notification");
Class c = objRef.getClass();
Class[] interfaces = c.getInterfaces();
for (int i=0; i<interfaces.length; i++) {
System.out.println(i + " : " + interfaces);
}
