I removed the deployer value (jbpm/upload) as I thought it was a bit confusing and as I was not aware that someone was using it. The actual deployment is still done through the 'old' upload servlet in the jBPM webapp. So if you want to customize the deployment, you can always change this servlet, decorate it with a filter, etc. Let me know if this does not solve your problem.
