I guess I should also say that using a browser-based administration console is not necessary to manage JBoss. Almost all of the configuration can be done editing XML files, and for deploying applications, simply copy the ear/war/whatever file (or directory) to the deploy server/xxx/directory (where xxx is usually 'default').
