Pain of death to thread-jackers :-)

Well, the official name is JBoss jBPM BPEL. I use jBPM BPEL for short.
Strangely, some people has asked me whether this is the JBoss implementation of
the BPEL standard. I say that, unless some other JBossian is working on it
under the covers, which seems unlikely, the answer is yes. So I guess JBoss
BPEL could be another short form.

Internally, we have been closely working with Mark Little, so you will
definitely see jBPM BPEL integrated with JBoss ESB... whenever it is released.

As for the IP licensing stuff, my understanding is: if you use the BPEL runtime
only within your own company, you are fine. However, once you give it to a
third party as part of a different application, you need to get a license
yourself, because you are giving away the IP contained in the BPEL spec without
bowing to the BPEL gods ;-) Greetings to Jeff Delong!
