In our standalone application ,two instances of the treecache (as in a client - server setup) seem to be working fine on the same PC ,i.e all updates are reflected in both the cache instances. However when they are copied on 2 different PCs (i.e the server is started on 1 machine & the client queries the cache), they do not seem to work. We are using Windows 2000. The default config file provided, has not been changed. The tree's replicate synchronous (sync) service is used. Any leads on how to configure and use the mulicast feature would be appriciated.
