Guess could add another method like isSame(Object) which would just compare protocol, host, and port. This is only way I can see to do what you are looking for (other than getting all the properties from the InvokerLocator and manually comparing them.
One issue is going to be with the value for host. Currently this should be safe as will always be converted to the ip address of the server. However, this may change (or at least be configurable) due to another issue that was raised - http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3944338#3944338.
