1. Install JBoss 4.0.4.GA run -c all, shutdown -S work fine 2. Install EJB3.0 RC6 or 7 for the `all' config shutdown -S throws `OutOfMemoryError: can't create native threads', `resource temporary unavailable', etc. - depends on current user and weather conditions. Then the server can only be stopped by `kill -9'
