I'm still a newbie but I think I'm learning finally that cmp works great retrieving a single row. But, when retrieving a Collection of any size (like 100) the overhead is so significant that performance makes it unusable. So, you are stuck moving to a session bean and doing your own management of the transaction.
Is that right or am I missing something really basic? Seems like the biggest short-coming with EJB.
