You can fix the transaction manager problem by adding the following depends clause to the jboss-portal.sar/META-INF/jboss-service.xml file:
<depends>jboss:service=TransactionManager</depends> The mbeans that need the dependency are the persistent and transient TreeCache beans (the ones with code='org.jboss.cache.TreeCache"').
