Yes, it seems that the passivating does not work. To get passivation to work make shure: - all SessionBean attributes must be serializable or transient - interfaces hold in the SessionBean should be released in ejbPassivate() and reinitialized in ejbActive()

In standardjboss.xml, in the stateful session bean section, change to <cache-policy>org.jboss.ejb.plugins.NoPassivationCachePolicy</cache-policy> Of course you stateful session beans won't get passivated anymore - which may or may not be a problem. If anyone has a fix to get the passivating one working properly, please let me know.
