Kashif, As pointed out in the jBPM BPEL manual, section 3.4.2, the primary testing target is JBoss 4.0.4, with 4.0.3.SP1 and 4.0.2 being secondary. Earlier versions are untested. Consider upgrading to the latest JBoss version.
