Yes, I did it that way, and it worked. Thanks, Weston! I suspect that the Java EE 5.0 specification has a leak in this area. It allows an adapter to declare an AdminObject and it defines how EJBs can reference them. However, it leaves out how an AdminObject is instantiated and provided by the container!?
