We are using MYSQL and setting our pool size to 500max/50min. After a while, all connections to the database are unsuccesful from the pool complaining about communication exceptions. Looks like it cannot talk to the database. REstarting JBoss, or stopping and starting the MBean seems to alleviate the problem. Anyone else ever see this before? DOes MYSQL(or it's driver) not like that many connections open?
