This is an issue that many ppl have reported.

But this doesnt not prevent you from deplying your
application.

try and access

http://localhost:8080/jboss

if this works than ur jboss is up and running.

deploy your application in jboss's deploy directory
and if its getting deployed you can see on ur console
about jboss creating context and other output. Make
sure you create application.xml in META-INF directory
in ur EAR file.
