Is JBoss by default supposed to also write the log to the system.log file under logs? I looked at the log4j.properties and it is setup to write to the console and the system.log, but the system.log is blank? Also there is a log4j.properties under /jboss/jboss/conf/default/ and one under /jboss/jboss/conf/catalina/. It seems that it is using the log4j.properties from under catalina when you start it with catalina, but that is what I would expect.
