/usr/blah/myear.ear/ myejb-jar.jar /META-INF /ejb-jar.xml META-INF /application.xml and put the myear.ear directory in the URLs attribute 3. To find out what happened, look at the jmx viewer on port 8082 and look for mbeans for each ejb. Also use the jndiview mbean to see what is bound in jndi. If something isn't deployed that you expect, it might be waiting for something it needs.
