In all my tests on JBoss 3.0 (release), trying to access an entity bean outside of a transaction results in "Error getting application tx data map" from an NPE. The problem goes away if I set my transaction attribute to "Required".
Does everyone else experience this same behavior? Shouldn't this provide me with cached (and possibly stale) data? The default commit option for CMP 2.0 beans is B...
