Using the Oracle thin driver (8.1.7) on JBoss 2.4.4, we see occaional
XAER_NOTA and XAER_PROTO exceptions. Here is a typical stack trace:

Researching the issue, I came across others seeing similar problems, but no
solutions. Has anybody seen such problems and figured out the cause? TIA.
