For a large application with a small uptime, JBoss 2.4.4 only takes up about 96MB's of memory. It's extremely lean on memory usage. Compare this to Tomcat participating in the same application. It uses up a whopping 450MB's. Both run on Blackdown's 1.3.1 JVM. (I'd hate to see the memory requirements under Sun's JVMs.) On another note, to conserve bandwidth and hard drive space, could you limit your quoting to the relevants parts of the post you're replying to?
