Dear JBoss users, One of the challenges I have found with JBoss is migrating to new versions.
Going from V2.4 to V3 was a lot of fun. However I have noticed that even between minor versions, things change which can make upgrading difficult. On a couple of occasions, I've even had to go into the JBoss source to find out what was going on. Has anyone found a solution to this problem? A J2EE configuration is quite complex, with datasources, mail settings, JMS settings etc. Having to redo you configuration every time there is a new version can be quite cumbersome. JBoss is generally very easy to use, except for this one problem. Maybe it is time to have an easy-to-use GUI tool that enables you to configure JBoss, and maintain your configuration across different versions.
