This seems highly implausible. Does your app work? Can you check with isql to see what the table structure actually is (by looking at RDB$RELATION_FIELDS as I recall)? I think a problem with Marathon is more likely than one with the jca driver or the Firebird engine... In any case if there really is a problem the firebird lists will get you better info.
