The only two requirements that I have WRT this is the ability to run multiple
containers on the same host (without port conflicts) and the ability to run
the Tomcat 4.1 manager app. I looked at trimming down the default config,
but started running into port conflicts and unresolved dependencies that I
couldn't figure out. Even so, the manager app wouldn't run in a
trimmed/micro config, so it's somewhat academic.

These deployments are separate customers that need the ability to restart
their app from a web UI. This is the reason for needing the Tomcat manager.
I presume that the manager app needs to have an awareness of the JB3 deployer
and it could be made to work. I don't care either way, but creating either
solution is slow going for me -- this is the first time I've done any
substantial work in the code base. I think it's the last step to getting
"JBoss Hosting Centers" going, really, so it's probably worthwhile for
someone to look at it. Once it's operational, I'll be finishing deployments
and beginning to market it immediately.
