look at the docs for the Java command. Sun's VM allows -Xmx<I>m, where <I> is the maximum heap size in megabytes.

You might also want to look at setting up a cron job to touch your ear every couple of days, to force a redeploy. That _should_ dump any memory your application is using as well.

Please don't tell me that's the wrong way to take care of the problem.  My vote is to
just find the issue and fix it, but the webmaster is begging me to find a way to increase
memory to buy him some time.
